Greens specializes in tailoring events to their customer’s vision.

While we publish menus and lists of our most popular items, we encourage you to tell us what you want. Chances are we can accommodate your requests and parameters. We have a large inventory of décor and display pieces and can create a tailored, modern look, a chic farm setting or a colorful, whimsical presentation. We offer full service catering, floral design, beverage and bar service, rentals, sound and light, décor and venue coordination. In 2015 we will be opening our own new venue at Greens on Tenth which will have state of the art sound, lighting and audio visual capabilities and full food service and bar.

July 21 – Pickles

Pickle is a fun word to say and they are fun to make! You will learn how to make shelf sustainable vinegar brined pickles too. Everyone goes home with their own customized jar of pickled deliciousness! Do not miss this workshop if you have ever thought about making your own delicious pickled vegetables After attending this event you will have the necessary information to begin your own pickle palooza!

August 18 – Fermenting

This workshop will begin with an introductory talk and tasting and we talk about all of our secrets on how to get the right texture and flavor in your favorite fermented foods!. All recipes are simple and delicious and you will learn how to keep it safe and yummy. We will cover topics of PH and botulism and flavor combinations. Then we will roll up our sleeves and begin creating the magic.

You will walk away from this workshop with a ferment fever and you will start fermenting all sorts of things. You will learn how to make great sauerkraut and kimchi and how to design your own recipes. You will learn how to make fermented beverages like Kombucha. You are going to love it!!!

You will go home with 2 jars of goodies and a lot of knowledge. We will share a delicious snack and goodies throughout the workshop too.

September 1 – Basic Cheese Making

Have you ever thought about how fresh cheese is made?

This event will clear up the many mysteries of making cheese at home. You will leave this event feeling inspired and empowered to start your own fresh cheese journey.

We will cover the basics of making a good fresh cheese that will astonish your friends and dinner guests. We will make mozzarella and a spreadable ricotta!
